ජාතික බාලදක්ෂ ජම්බෝරිය ගම්පහ දිසාවේ දී පැවැත්වීමට නියමිතව තිබුණ ද 09 ප්‍රධාන කොමසාරිස් මිලින්ද පීරිස් මහතාගේ පත්වීමත් සමග එම තීරණය වෙනස් විය. ඒ අනුව 10වැනි ජාතික බාලදක්ෂ ජම්බෝරිය ත්‍රිකුණාමලය බාලදක්ෂ දිස්ත්‍රික්කයේ පැවැත්විය යුතු බවට තීරණය විය. මේ පිළිබඳ කරැණු විමසා බැලීමට නියෝජ්‍ය ප්‍රධාන කොමසාරිස් ජනප්‍රිත් ප්‍රනාන්දු මහතා ඇතුළු කණ්ඩායමක් පසුගිය දා ත්‍රිකුණාමලයේ නිරීක්ෂණ චාරිකාවක යෙදූණෝය. එම චාරිකාවේද ජම්බෝරිය පැවැත්වෙන භූමිය හා එහි යටිතල පහසුකම් ආදී තවත් තොරතුරැ පිළිබඳව සොයා බලා ඇත. ත්‍රිකුණාමලය ශාන්ත මේරි විදුහල හා හින්දු විද්‍යාලය ආශ්‍රිත ප්‍රදේශය ප්‍රධාන ජම්බෝරි භූමිය ලෙස තෝරා ගැනීමට නියමිතය.
දැවැන්තම බාලදක්ෂ ජම්බෝරිය
මෙතෙක් ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ බාලදක්ෂ කඳවුරක කඳවුරැ බැඳි බාලදක්ෂයින් වැඩිම
ප්‍රමාණය හත් දහසකි. එහෙත් මෙවර පැවැත්වෙන ජාතික ජම්බෝරියේ කඳවුරැ බඳින
බාලදක්ෂයින් ගණන ජම්බෝරි සේවා කණ්ඩායම් ද ඇතුළුව දොළොස් දහසකට ආසන්න වන බව
තක්සේරැ කොට ඇත. එබැවින් ගෙවුණු සියවසේ අති දැවැන්තම කඳවුර ලෙස ශ්‍රී ලංකා
බාලදක්ෂ ඉතිහාසයේ දසවැනි ජාතික බාලදක්ෂ ජම්බෝරිය ඉතිහාසයට එක්වනු ඇත.
ජම්බෝරි කඳවුරැ බිම
ත්‍රිකුණාමලය මුහුදු තීර, නිලාවේලි මුහුදු තීරය, කෝනේශ්වරම් ආශ්‍රිත කඳු මුදුන් ආදී ස්ථානවල බාලදක්ෂ එළිමහන් පුරෝගාමී අභ්‍යාස කිරීමට ජම්බෝරි ක්‍රියාකාරකම් කමිටුව කටයුතු සංවිධානය කරයි. ත්‍රිකුණාමල වරාය ආශ්‍රිත මුහුදු බාලදක්ෂ ක්‍රියාකාරකම් ශ්‍රී ලංකා නාවික හමුදාවේ උපදේශකත්වයෙන් සිදුවනු ඇත. ආකර්ෂණීය වෙරළ තීරය හා අවට ප්‍රදේශයේ දී එළිමහන් ක්‍රියාකාරකම් සිදු කිරීමට අපේක්ෂිතය.
2020 අප්‍රේල් මස 3 වැනිදා සිට 8 වැනිදා දක්වා පැවැත්වෙන ජාතික ජම්බෝරිය සඳහා බාලදක්ෂයින් දසදහසක් කඳවුරැ බැඳීමට අපේක්ෂිතය. විදේශීය බාලදක්ෂයින් දහසකට සහභාගි වී කඳවුරැ බැඳීමට අවකාශය ලබා දීමට සංවිධායකයෝ බලාපොරොත්තු වෙති. ඒ අනුව ජූලි මාසයේ පැවැත්වෙන ලෝක බාලදක්ෂ ජම්බෝරියේ දී දසවැනි ජාතික බාලදක්ෂ ජම්බෝරිය පිළිබඳව ලෝක බාලදක්ෂයින් දැනුම්වත් කරනු ඇත.
10වැනි ජාතික බාලදක්ෂ ජම්බෝරියෙහි ජම්බෝරි සුරතලා සේ තෝරාගෙන ඇත්තේ මුව පැංචායි. තිත් මුව පැංචකු ජම්බෝරි සුරතලා වශයෙන් තෝරා ගැනීමට ආසන්නම හේතුව වී ඇත්තේ ජම්බෝරි භූමියෙහි නිරතුරැව හැසිරෙන මුව රූනයි.
ප්‍රධාන විෂය ක්ෂේත්‍ර 20 ක්
දසවැනි ජාතික ජම්බෝරිය සාර්ථක කරගැනීමට ප්‍රධාන විෂය ක්ෂේත්‍ර 20 ක් ඔස්සේ
උප කමිටු පත්කර ඇත. එම විෂය ක්ෂේත්‍ර ප්‍රධානීන් ලෙස අත්දැකීම් බහුල ලී
පදක්කම් ධාරී ජ්‍යෙෂ්ඨ බාලදක්ෂ නායකයින් පත්කර ඇත.
ජාතික ජම්බෝරියට සමගාමීව පැවැත්වෙන සන්සෝ ජම්බෝරිය
ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ පවත්වන 10 වැනි ජාතික ජම්බෝරියට සමගාමීව බාලදක්ෂයින්ට ජාත්‍යන්තර ජම්බෝරි අත්දැකීමක් ලබා දීමේ අරමුණින් සිව්වැනි සන්සෝ ජම්බෝරිය පැවැත්වෙයි. දකුණු ආසියාතික සහයෝගිතා ජාතික බාලදක්ෂ සංගම් ජම්බෝරියට (SAANSO) විදේශීය බාලදක්ෂයෝ දහසක් කඳවුරැ බඳිති.
සන්සෝ ජම්බෝරි ඉතිහාසය
ප්‍රථම වතාවට දකුණු ආසියාතික සහයෝගිතා ජාතික බාලදක්ෂ සංගම් ජම්බෝරියක් පැවැත්වූයේ 2014 වර්ෂයේදී ය. බංගලාදේශයේ බාලදක්ෂ පුහුණු මධ්‍යස්ථානයේ පැවැත්වූ එම ජම්බෝරියට බාලදක්ෂයෝ අටදහස් පන්සියයක් සහභාගි වූහ. සන්සෝ ජම්බෝරියක් දෙවැනි වරට පැවැත්වූයේ පාකිස්තානයේදී ය. තෙවැනි සන්සෝ ජම්බෝරිය නැවතත් බංගලාදේශයේ පැවැත්වීම විශේෂ සිද්ධියකි.
10th sri lanka National Scout Jamboree fever
Sri Lanka is ready to host one of the biggest 10th National Jamboree & 4th SAANSO Jamboree, to be held 8th to 14th August at the Trincomalee. Over 400 overseas participants from 20 countries will present in addition to a large contingent of local delegates. The Chief Guests and Guests of Honour at these ceremonies will be the His Excellency President, Gotabaya Rajapaksa who is also the Chief Scout and the President of the DSR of Sri Lanka.
The jamboree has been organised with the support of the Chief Scout and the local bodies of the Eastern Province and Trincomalee Scout District, said Deputy Chief Commissioner of Sri Lanka Scout Association, of Jamboree Executive team, Attorney at Law Mr.Janaprith Fernando. “We have been able to prepare all necessary infrastructure facilities at the beautiful Jamboree Campsite in Trincomalee District. This will also coincide with 100 years of Scouting in Trincomalee District. It will be the first time that a National Jamboree is being held in the Eastern Province. 8000-10000, Scouts are expected to participate with about 1000 overseas Scouts Expected.
The activities and the program include outdoor obstacle courses, challenges, water activities, archery, visits to places of interest, Messenger of Peace, Global Development village, , lateral thinking, wide game and the usual Jamboree Camp Fires, traditional Sri Lankan games, cultural shows and beat and talent shows every evening in the main arena, International Day and Night. All in all the organisers have done their best and will do the best to ensure that all jamborites will be in a safe environment and enjoy all activities and make new friends at this 4th SANSO Jamboree and 10th National Jamboree, Sri Lanka.
Trincomalee District is located in the east of Sri Lanka in the Eastern Province. It has an area of 2,727 square kilometres (1,053 sq mi). The capital of the district is the city of Trincomalee. Set on a peninsula, Fort Frederick was built by the Portuguese in the 17th century. Within its grounds, the grand Koneswaram Temple stands on Swami Rock cliff, a popular vantage point for blue-whale watching. The holy complex contains ornate shrines and a massive statue of Shiva. Nearby Gokanna Temple has panoramic views over the city and the coastline.
Unique Sights As a place where there are a lot of artefacts of both Sri Lankan and Western culture, Trincomalee has a lot to offer to any tourist. For WW2 buffs the perfect historic site is the British war cemetery which is the final resting place of 364 soldiers of the allied armies. St’s Mary’s cathedral is one of Trincomalee’s most unique churches. It is a vividly designed church with a sky-blue colour and a neo-baroque façade.
